Born and raised close to the Swiss alps in the Rhine valley the Pop artist, songwriter and producer Claudio Söldi has been writing, producing and releasing music for his artist project Clark S which is a mix of Pop, early 2000's R'n'B mixed with Garage, Two-step and Dance elements. He also is co-writing songs for other artists.

 

Growing up in a musical family allowed him to discover music at a very young age. He started playing the drums to Michael Jackson tracks at the age of six and got into guitar playing and songwriting as a teenager. He then studied Pop vocals, songwriting and music production at ZHdK Zurich and ICMP London and completed his master degree. He spent 5 months of in London honing his craft in songwriting and production by doing 3-4 songwriting sessions with several co-writers per week. It's where he discovered co-writing while also playing several UK live shows (full band & solo) as well. 

After acquiring all the necessary skills to finish a song he now produces most of his songs by himself working with and learning from his co-producer Benji Alasu who produced his EP 'Back of My Head'. By releasing music over the past 5 years his solo project Clark S managed to get national (CH) and international (UK) radio airplay. Currently he is working on his debut album and the first two singles 'New Waters' and 'Pressure' already got played on radio stations like SRF3 and Energy or Future Hits Radio UK London.

Besides his work in the studio, the Swiss singer is a seasoned live performer after playing more than 200 concerts in Switzerland and the UK performing on festival stages, in music clubs or at corporate events. Clark S offers solo, duo and full band shows. ​
