Single 'Pressure' 8th of August

His sound is motivating and danceable, while also dealing with deep emotions. Clark S the Swiss pop artist releases his second single “Pressure” of his new project, a mix of Two-Step, Pop and R&B.

We all know it – high expectations at work and societal ideas of success. Even though we know it's not good for us to constantly compare ourselves, it’s hard not to lose track of our own path in today’s media-driven world. “In my situation as an artist, I sometimes catch myself criticizing my music while comparing myself to the whole music industry especially when it comes to numbers. Of course, you wanna reach as many people as possible, but it’s so important to remember that the courage to share your own art with the whole world is already enough. That’s why I try to focus on the process and the creative part in my job as much as possible.”

“Don’t put so much pressure on yourself – go with the flow.”

When Clark S was on his way to a studio session in London he received a message from a close friend telling him not to stress so much and to trust the process. The following songwriting session with his co-writer turned out to be one of his most productive.

Sometimes, all it takes is a good friend to pull us out of that mental stress. Just like the song lyrics describe, for Clark S it’s often those small things that make a difference – a motivating message or an Italian dinner with good friends. These are the people we need to take good care of.

In the music video Clark S shows studio footage with his co-producer Benji Alasu, highlighting how creating music is what relieves them from all kinds of pressure. It allows them to forget about the outside world and be fully present in the moment. The video also features outdoor scenes in Zurich, including a rooftop performance. So, you better don’t miss this.
